Frozen food storage and distribution firm Reed Boardall is taking 56 new tractor units. The new trucks are a mix of Euro 4 MAN TGX, Scania 480 Topline and 420 Highline models. They will join the 150-strong truck fleet as part of a replacement scheme that aims to keep the fleet age below three years. The firm works 24 hours a day, with trucks collecting chilled and frozen food from manufacturers, consolidating loads at its 112,000-pallet cold store at Boroughbridge and then delivering to customers, overall moving some 10,000 pallets of frozen food a day.
i expect these to be 59 plates, so keep an eye out!
